Paddy Howlin MCIPS
Paddy has extensive experience within category management and public sector procurement, both in terms of developing and implementing strategy to drive successful commercial outcomes and building highly motivated teams that deliver savings, cost improvement and drive continuous improvements via the delivery of robust commercial arrangements. Paddy has a proven track record of success in leading innovative public sector procurement and commercial activities. He successfully project managed the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency Telecare National Framework procurement, which won the prestigious Chartered Institute of Supply Best EU Public Procurement Project Award in 2007. He has continued to have success developing and delivering a variety of procurement strategies and commercial arrangements in a broad spectrum of category areas including Professional Services, Office Solutions and Property. Recently Paddy led the development of the UK Central Government Facilities Management Contracting Model commercial strategy. Paddy will provide drive, commitment and focus to any programme, ensuring performance improvement and return on investment on any commercial activity he is leading and delivering against. Paddy is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Paddy has extensive experience in public sector procurement, having worked for numerous organisations including Government Procurement Service, Buying Solutions and NHS Purchasing & Supply Agency and Liverpool Health Authority.
