Matthew Griffin FCIPS, MSc
Matthew has extensive experience in supply chain and procurement across the NHS, Public Sector, financial services, manufacturing and utilities, gained through senior leadership roles in complex organisations. While working at NHS Supply Chain, Matthew helped deliver procurement savings of £78 million through innovative sourcing plans and supporting contract management at a strategic level. Matthew also helped with creation of a center of excellence for procurement of national frameworks for the UK National Health Service. During his time at the Crown Commercial Service, Matthew covered a spend of £1.8 billion in the professional services category, for the UK Public Sector, where he delivered year on year cashable and efficiency savings to achieve Comprehensive Spending Review targets. Matthew is a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Procurement and Supply and also holds a Masters in Strategic Procurement.
Matthew has previously worked as Head of Contracting within NHS Supply Chain, covering a spend of £2.5 billion, and also has worked as Head of Sourcing and Category Management at the Crown Commercial Service, covering a spend of £9.5 billion. Matthew has also held senior roles at DWP, and other lead roles within the private sector, across a variety of industries.
